Afternoon breaks.

In our busy world, it is so important to take time for yourself.

I struggle with just doing something for me.

Sometimes, all it can take is 5 minutes, even when getting 5 minutes seems near impossible.

Today, amongst chores and food prep, I had to stop. The dishes, folding the washing, and unloading the dishwasher could all wait, and they did.

My 5 minutes today was spent with a cup of tea, some fresh biscuits and admiring the table flowers.

I went back to my tasks, feeling more accomplished and less stressed.
